How the custom latch configurator works
- Pick a base latch or accessory and a layout (one line of text or two).
- Type your text and set your colours and etch depth — the 3D preview updates as you go.
- Add to cart and check out. We generate a clean, print-ready STL from your exact design.
- Download your STL to print at home, or choose the print-and-ship option and we'll make it for you here in Australia.

Frequently asked questions
What do I actually receive?
By default you receive a print-ready STL file — a single, watertight 3D model of your customised latch that you can print on any FDM 3D printer. If you choose the print-and-ship option, we print it for you and post it to you in Australia; you don't need a printer of your own.
Can I put any text on it?
Yes — add your own custom text and we'll build the latch to match. Brand-logo designs are coming soon. Please only use text (and, once available, logos) you have the right to use — personalised items are made to your specification, so you're responsible for the wording and artwork you submit.
How do the colours work on a downloaded STL?
An STL is a shape only, so the colours you pick are a preview of how it will look. On a single-colour print you can do a filament colour-change at the raised text layer to match the preview. If you'd rather not, choose the print-and-ship option and we'll produce it in the colours you selected.
Is the customised STL refundable?
Because each STL is generated uniquely from your design, digital files are non-refundable once delivered. If there's a genuine fault with the file, contact us and we'll put it right.
